Trust in medical travel begins with official authorisation. Design Clinic Health Tourism operates under licences issued in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Türkiye. Group A Travel Agency Operating Licence
Issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism under Law No. 1618 on Travel Agencies and the Association of Travel Agencies, the Group A licence authorises its holder to organise domestic and international tours, arrange transport, accommodation and transfers, and offer these services as packages. The travel components of our international patient programme — airport transfers, accommodation and city transport — are delivered under this licence and within the framework of TÜRSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) membership.
The licence is registered at the company’s head office (Küçükbakkalköy Mah. Defne Sok. Flora Residence No. 1/71, Ataşehir/Istanbul) and names Design Klinik Sağlık Turizm İç ve Dış Ticaret Ltd Şti. as the licence holder. It was first issued on 21 July 2022 and reissued on 5 April 2024 following a change of address.
What the Licence Means for Patients
- Travel and accommodation services are provided by an authorised agency subject to Ministry supervision.
- Transport and accommodation supplied as part of a package fall under the consumer protection provisions of Law No. 1618.
- Agency activities are bound by TÜRSAB’s professional oversight and compulsory insurance obligations.
- The licence number can be verified through the Ministry’s public agency enquiry system.
Authorisation for Medical Services
Hair transplantation and other medical procedures are not performed by the company but at our contracted hospitals, Central Hospital and Başkent University Istanbul Hospital, both licensed by the Ministry of Health, by their own physician teams. Licensing and accreditation documents of these facilities are available on request through our patient coordination office.
