Privacy Notice

This notice is issued under Article 10 of the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). Turkish law applies to data processed in Türkiye. The authoritative Turkish text is available at /kvkk.html.

Data Processed

• Identity and contact data: name, e-mail, telephone, country of residence.
• Health data (special category): hair loss history, medication, chronic conditions, scalp photographs, test results and treatment records.
• Travel data: passport details (where an invitation letter is issued), flight and accommodation details.

Purposes and Legal Bases

• Preliminary assessment and treatment planning – explicit consent (Art. 6/2).
• Organisation of travel, accommodation and transfers – performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
• Compliance with legal obligations (health tourism and tax legislation) – expressly provided by law (Art. 5/2-a).
• Responding to enquiries – legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).

Transfers

Health data are shared only with the contracted hospital and the treating physician for planning and delivery of treatment. Travel data are transferred to accommodation and transfer providers to the extent necessary. Data are not used for promotion or marketing or shared with third parties without explicit consent.

Retention

Data are retained for as long as the purpose requires and for the limitation periods prescribed by law, after which they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your Rights

Under Article 11 you may learn whether your data are processed, request information, learn the purpose and whether data are used accordingly, know the third parties to whom data are transferred, request correction, deletion or destruction, request notification of these actions to recipients, object to results produced exclusively by automated analysis and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
